Mayra C. Artiles Elevated to Partner at Estrella LLC
November 4, 2024 – Estrella LLC, a leading full-service business law firm in Puerto Rico, is pleased to announce that Mayra C. Artiles has been elevated to Partner. This promotion reflects Mayra’s outstanding contributions to the firm and her dedication to excellence in corporate and commercial law.
Since joining the firm, Mayra has been an integral part of the team and played a crucial role in representing clients across a broad spectrum of commercial and corporate transactions and disputes.

Mayra first joined Estrella LLC as a Summer Associate in our very first class in 2012. After completing law school, she briefly worked as a litigation associate at another firm. We were thrilled to recruit her back, and in May of 2015 Mayra rejoined us as an Associate. Since then, she has been an integral part of Estrella LLC, contributing to the growth of our firm. In addition to her work in helping to develop our Corporate practice group, Mayra has been involved in the development of various company initiatives, including marketing efforts, women’s inclusion programs, and representing the firm within our networks.
Mayra offers comprehensive counsel to companies of all sizes, providing guidance on corporate matters from both transactional and dispute resolution perspectives. Throughout her career, she has advised clients on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate divisions, general corporate issues, due diligence, corporate governance, financing, intellectual property, antitrust, corporate real estate, regulatory compliance, and data protection and privacy.
As a licensed civil law Notary Public, Mayra also regularly assists clients with the preparation and management of notarial documents, including trusts and estates, real estate transactions, and prenuptial agreements, providing trusted guidance to high-net-worth individuals. With her broad skill set, Mayra empowers clients to make informed decisions and confidently navigate complex legal matters. Additionally, she helped establish and currently leads the firm’s Business Immigration Practice.
Mayra holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico. She also completed a post-graduate certification in the International and European Legal Studies Program from the University of Antwerp in Belgium and a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in International Corporate and Commercial Law from King’s College London.
