Firm Selected as Local Counsel to the Financial Oversight and Management Board’s Claims Counsel

The Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico selected Estrella LLC to serve as local counsel to Brown Rudnick LLP, counsel to the Special Claims Committee. Brown Rudnick LLP will investigate any potential claims that Puerto Rico might have relating to debt the commonwealth and its agencies sold leading up to the island’s fiscal crisis and bankruptcy.
