Pro Bono Work

By partnering with nonprofits and community initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful impact and uphold our responsibility to serve the greater good.
Estrella LLC attorneys are involved in various pro bono programs. One of our key programs is the Puerto Rico Notary Bar Association where our notary-attorneys participate in the Bar’s Pro Bono program. As part of the program, our attorneys provide free legal consults and notary services, including Wills & Estate and contract drafting, to the community of Rio Piedras in San Juan, in collaboration with the Municipality of San Juan’s legal affairs office.
Our attorneys are also involved in numerous other Pro Bono programs in their individual capacity. These include the University of Puerto Rico Law School Pro Bono program as mentors for law students providing immigration work for the immigrant communities; Seed Incubator for Community Microbusinesses; the Casa sin Fronteras, Inc. program providing basic business organization consulting for non-profit startup participants; and Ayuda Legal Puerto Rico, Inc. providing general immigration information for access to legal services non-profit website.
Enactus Puerto Rico
Estrella LLC is proud to sponsor ENACTUS, a global non-profit and community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives. The organization operates through a network of 33 independent country offices, engaging students in entrepreneurial projects to address some of the world’s biggest challenges. Our Managing Partner at Estrella LLC also serves as the current Chair of Enactus Puerto Rico spearheading initiatives that drive innovation and foster impactful change within our community.

As a business law firm, Estrella LLC collaborates with one of the biggest start-up and incubator programs in Puerto Rico. As part of our collaboration, the start-ups are awarded various pro-bono hours with our firm, where the entrepreneurs can work with one of our attorneys to conduct their initial business organization, IP registrations, initial employment contracts, and employee manuals, among others.
Susan G Komen Puerto Rico Breast Cancer Research
